Dr.
Levinson was born and raised in New York City. He earned a bachelors
degree in psychology from Queens College of the City University
of New York and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University
of Rochester. After completing his training, he moved to Minnesota
to direct an innovative rural mental health program that has flourished
under his leadership for the past twenty five years.
Dr. Levinson has spent most of his career helping
people follow through on their good intentions.
In the early 1980's, he made a startling discovery:
Poor follow through is caused by a design flaw in the human mind.
Levinson used his discovery to create the MotivAider - a remarkably
simple tool that automatically improves follow through by correcting
for the design flaw.
Levinson
teamed up with peak performance consultant, Peter Greider, to
write Following Through: A Revolutionary New Model For Finishing
Whatever You Start. Published in the Fall of 1998 by Kensington
Publishing Corporation, New York, the book is based on Levinson's
groundbreaking discoveries about the paradoxical way the mind
treats good intentions.
A popular speaker and consultant, Dr. Levinson
combines his experience and skill as a psychologist and innovator
with a passion for helping individuals and organizations follow
through.
